I got a little too amped up about the warming trend coming to Minnesota this week. I checked the high and low for the day, saw 34 for the high, 24 for the low. Yeah the weatherman must decide his high and lows based off a different clock than I am using. As far as I am concerned, when I leave at 6 am on Monday, the temperature should be within that high or low range, or at least close.
So anyhow, I head out the door dressed for temperatures in the teens; my thin balaclava, no face mask, one shirt under my jacket. It felt a little brisk out when I left, but that's normal when you get out of 8 hours in a warm bed. Ends up it was like 2 degrees out. My feet, hands, and face froze. So I've learned that realtime conditions is where it's at.
Anyone have a good weather website with up-to-date temperatures, preferably hourly? I've noticed nearly every weather site is bogged down with ads. Drives me crazy.
