Quick update.

I'm alive and well in Italy. I've barely had any free time to burn on the internet, so no blogging. Pretty busy the next couple days as well.

Today
Pack, check out of hotel, meetings until 2 pm, train from Padova to Stuttgart at 3 pm, hotel at 1 am.

Tomorrow
Pick up rental car at 9 am, drive south, meeting at 1 pm, drive back to Stuttgart, gym, pack, sleep.

Saturday
Leave hotel at 6 am, drive to Frankfurt, catch flight at 10 am, land at MSP at 11:45 pm.

I've learned a lot about what you can and can't expect to do on a business trip. The travel is nothing like I imagined. I naively thought that I would have at least a couple hours a day to spend looking around the cities I was in, but I was wrong. Well I could have made a free hour a day, but it would be late at night after a tiring work day. At that point, sleep generally sounds like a better option. Can't run yourself down too much.
